Nomad Travels – Pursuit: Inspiration
(1 Artist, 2 pups and an Easel). Let’s hit the road!
I’m beginning this trip with my campervan in a Toyota Sienna. Looking to find inspiration and enjoy my time for about 3-4 weeks. Giving myself a flexible time limit because frankly, I have no idea what I am going to get into and that excites me!
The journey starts from Naples, Florida and I will be driving my way through the northern states ( of course everywhere is NORTH of Florida) but I plan to make it to Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana with stopping to smell every rose along the way. It’s not about the destinations but it is definitely about the journey and finding my soul inspired once again. I am only taking highways when necessary. Mostly back roads, boondocking and living for the moment with no expectations. Living free is the ultimate goal.
After depleting my energy this past year as the president of the Naples Art District, and teaching amazing students through the winter months, it’s time to be refreshed. I look forward to the beauty all around, making new friends, spending time with family, catching up with old friends and even my students that live in other places 1/2 the year outside of Naples. I want to be fully immersed in the moment as much as I can be but also take you along!
There are so many amazing little towns yet to see and people I haven’t met yet. I hope to keep this blog updated as I go and show some interesting and beautiful sites that might be new to you too!
My co-pilots are two fuzzy shadows of mine I call Muffin and Ginger. I am certain they will not let me down in helping to pause the drive so we can take in some interesting sites and walks.
Join the unexpected fun and keep watching for updates. It won’t be daily but I will give some good highlights along the way! This is all new for me being a Nomad and Blogger so I am certain it will have its challenges but I am ready to embrace the experience.
