Meet the Artist & Founder
Sandee Mahler
Sandee Mahler is the founder and creative force behind Art Edge Gallery. With a bold, intuitive approach to art and a passion for community, Sandee creates vibrant, textured works using acrylic and mixed media that reflect emotion, movement, and nature. Her style ranges from abstract expression to impressionist landscapes, inspired by expansive skies, reflective waters, and the brilliance of color.
Before launching the gallery, Sandee worked as a large-scale faux painter—an experience that shaped her signature use of texture. Today, she channels that tactile artistry into works designed to inspire joy, introspection, and connection. Each piece is crafted intuitively, allowing emotion and energy to guide the creative process.
Sandee’s journey into art began as a way to embrace her true purpose, evolving from fear into fulfillment. Her work is more than visual—it’s spiritual, inviting viewers into a space of beauty, freedom, and presence. She believes art has the power to change lives and remains devoted to being an active part of that transformation.
Her commitment to the local art scene runs deep. Sandee has been an integral member of the Naples Art District for nearly a decade, having served as Secretary (2014–2015) and as President for the May 2024–May 2025 season. Through these roles, she has championed local artists, fostered meaningful connections, and helped shape a thriving creative community in Naples.
Whether through teaching, creating, or connecting with collectors, Sandee’s mission is clear: to make art that matters—and to encourage others to do the same
